Açaí smoothie

Açaí is a hero ingredient – reputed to be one of the best antioxidants, it makes the perfect base for a fruit smoothie. Combine with pineapple, strawberries and banana

  • 100g raw, frozen, unsweetened açaí pulp, thawed
  • 50g frozen pineapple
  • 100g strawberries
  • 1 medium banana
  • 250ml mango or orange juice
  • 1 tbsp agave nectar or honey



Açaí is reputed to be one of the potent antioxidants. It’s usually sold frozen in health food stores. Try a variety of fruits to combine with it and make delicious smoothies. 


  1. Place all ingredients in the blender or a food processor. Blend until smooth. If it’s too thick add a bit more mango or orange juice. Serve in 2 tall glasses.
