Mohalla, a Dubai-homegrown concept, launches in Riyadh, KSA

The Dubai-homegrown concept has opened its doors this March at The Esplanade in Riyadh, KSA

Mohalla, which translates to mean ‘a neighborhood’ or ‘a community’ in numerous cultures, has opened its first branch outside the UAE at The Esplanade in Riyadh, KSA.

The Indian restaurant pays homage to authentic cooking styles from different parts of India; and diners in the capital of Saudi Arabia can look forward to vibrant, flavour-packed Indian cuisine brimming with spices and aroma.

The culinary destination offers both indoor and al fresco dining; and boasts an eclectic ambience featuring furnishings in earth tones, lively design elements and the brand’s iconic hand-painted street scene art.

An open tandoor area, an open kitchen and a statement bar serve to complete the setting, allowing diners to witness all the action behind-the-scenes and in turn, replicating the feeling of being at a street-side restaurant in India.

Mohalla Riyadh will offer the same dishes as Mohalla Dubai, except for few special kebabs. Expect Raj kachori (king-sized crispy snack), Avocado papdi chaat (fried dough wafers with various toppings), Keema pao, Spicy chilli chicken, Rayalaseema prawn curry, Chicken kebabs, Raan biryani and the decadent Jalebi.
