Hikiniku To Come is coming to Dubai: Everything you need to know

One of Asia’s most celebrated Hamburg concepts is opening its first GCC location this September

Dubai’s dining scene is about to welcome one of Asia’s most talked-about restaurant concepts. Hikiniku To Come, the Japanese Wagyu Hamburg restaurant that has built a following across Asia, will open its first GCC location at CMPLX, Al Quoz, in September 2026. The opening is being brought to the region by FYTE Hospitality, the group behind some of Dubai’s most in-demand restaurants, including Kokoro Handroll Bar and Window.

What is Hikiniku To Come?

Hikiniku To Come is a Japanese restaurant concept that has redefined the Hamburg steak dining experience across Asia. Known for its singular focus on premium Wagyu beef, the restaurant has built its reputation on meticulous preparation, custom-built grilling equipment, and a dining ritual that has become iconic among food enthusiasts across Japan and beyond.

Freshly ground Wagyu Hamburg patties are grilled over custom-built equipment and served in a carefully choreographed sequence to showcase the quality of the meat and the precision behind the cooking process. It is this combination that has set the brand apart and earned it recognition.

Where is it opening in Dubai?

The restaurant will be located within CMPLX, the highly anticipated development in Al Quoz. FYTE Hospitality has confirmed that the Dubai location will be among the most premium Hikiniku To Come restaurants anywhere in the world, featuring custom-built grills, premium finishes, and a level of detail that reflects the group’s commitment to delivering best-in-class dining experiences.

What to expect on the menu

Guests can expect the signature Hikiniku experience with one important addition for the GCC market. The Dubai location will serve 100 per cent Halal-certified Wagyu beef, sourced and prepared to meet both the brand’s international standards and the expectations of the regional market.

The experience centres on freshly ground Wagyu Hamburg patties grilled over custom-built equipment and served in a choreographed sequence that puts the quality of the meat front and centre. Every element of the dining ritual has been preserved from the original Japanese concept.

When does it open?

Hikiniku To Come is set to open at CMPLX, Al Quoz, in September 2026.

Looking further ahead, FYTE Hospitality has confirmed plans to open two additional Hikiniku To Come locations across the UAE in 2027, with further details on those destinations to be announced before the end of this year.

Further details on reservations will be announced in the coming months. Watch this space.
