L’AMO Bistro del Mare is an elegant Italian seafood restaurant that has opened its doors in Dubai, bringing a Southern Italian charm to the city
L’AMO Bistro del Mare is a new Italian seafood restaurant at the Dubai Harbour Yacht Club, that welcomes diners to experience al fresco dining with stunning vistas over the sea. The dining destination pays tribute to the Italian coast, serving up sublime seafood flavours that are sure to please all palates.
The restaurant’s interiors are highlighted by neutral tones of beige and wood, with terrazzo style tiles, characteristic of many traditional Southern Italian restaurants. Fitted with expansive floor-to-ceiling windows and striking 360-degree views of the Cruise terminal, Dubai Marina, Bluewaters Island and Ain Dubai, the setting is flooded with natural light allowing the skyline views to take centre stage.
Seafood lovers will want to take a tour of the restaurant’s fresh fish display, where the daily catch can be picked and cooked-to-order. The culinary journey features an array of daily imports from the Mediterranean, including Sicily and the Adriatic Sea. The restaurant will also be serving a one-of-a-kind selection of Calvisius caviar imported straight from Brescia, Italy.
At the helm of L’Amo Bistro del Mare’s culinary offerings is Executive Chef, Lorenzo Buccarini, boasting a wealth of experience from the international and regional F&B scene. His signature dishes to try include Spaghettone cacio & pepe e ricci di mare, a traditional spaghetti Mancini served with pecorino cheese, delicate sea urchin and a dash of black pepper; and the Risotto zafferano, scampi e caviale, a fragrant saffron risotto served with langoustine and Oscietra caviar. Meat enthusiasts will be satisfied with the restaurant’s Wagyu alla griglia, a grilled wagyu ribeye cooked to their preference.
Bringing a sweet end to your meal is a selection of deserts such as the Profiterole, a delicate chou pastry filled with an indulgent in-house hazelnut cream and topped with roasted hazelnuts or the ‘Baba’, a decadent cake soaked in a citrus syrup, served with freshly made pastry cream.
The space also boasts an impressive collection of 300 grape labels imported exclusively from Italy; and encompasses an outdoor terrace and a sundowner spot. The Italian restaurant is a perfect locale for romantic nights out, intimate celebrations or any special occasions that call for a Mediterranean dining experience.
