Observed every year on May 21, the UN-sanctioned occasion aims to raise awareness of the history of tea, along with its cultural and economic significance. The day seeks to promote the sustainable production and consumption of tea; and bring together countries where tea is an important source of income.

 

Feel Good Tea

Founded in Dubai in September 2019 by Mohammad Alhawari, Feel Good Tea offers a myriad of tea leaves to suit every tea-loving palate. Indulge in exclusive tea-based desserts at European-inspired lifestyle restaurant Mondoux, perched along the picturesque Dubai Creek Harbour. From Hibiscus-infused cheesecake starring subtle fruity and floral notes to a light and airy Black tea sponge cake crafted using premium tea leaves, diners are assured a lovely International Tea Day celebration.

Bol Gappa

Visit the Bollywood-themed Bol Gappa eatery for unlimited tea, while you fuel yourself with hearty bites from their new breakfast menu. Look forward to eight varieties of chai, including black tea, lemon tea, masala tea, nukkad wali chai, desi chai, gur ki chai, cardamom chai, saffron and cardamom chai.
