The 2017 BBC Good Food Middle East winners were announced this week at a ceremony at the Ritz-Carlton Dubai, in JBR.
There were more than 80,000 votes from members of the public over six months in the lead up to the November awards, based on a longlist of nominees that was put together by industry experts.
Foodies across the Middle East voted in 41 categories, covering a wide-range of topics from the Food App award, to the New Restaurant award and Staycation Experience award.
Five hundred people gathered at the awards ceremony, which saw Ossaiano at Atlantis, the Palm win Best Seafood Restaurant, RUYA win Best New Restaurant and Carnival by Tresind win Best Indian Restaurant.
Ajay and Lucy, the founders of Mr & Mrs Brunch went home with Best Food Influencer. They said were “excited, proud, shocked and amazed” to have won the award, and thanked all their fans who voted.
