Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport has launched a brand-new initiative that allows UAE residents to experience the terminal’s luxury offerings without traveling. The newly introduced Shopping Pass gives visitors the chance to access the terminal to shop, dine, and explore the airport without the need for a boarding pass. This limited-time campaign runs for eight weeks, opening up premium areas usually reserved exclusively for departing passengers.
The Shopping Pass provides access to a massive variety of international retail brands and dining spots. Whether you are looking for designer fashion or a casual meal, the terminal offers a diverse range of outlets.

How the Shopping Pass Works
Access to the terminal is simple but requires advance coordination through an online registration process. Once registered, you will receive a digital pass. This is essential for your visit, as it must be scanned at entry points, inside shops, and when you exit the terminal.
The initiative is open exclusively to UAE nationals and residents, all of whom must carry a valid ID during their visit. While a boarding pass is not necessary, all visitors must still clear standard security procedures.
To make the trip more convenient, the airport offers a parking incentive for shoppers. Visitors who spend AED200 or more will receive up to four hours of free parking. For spends below this amount, standard airport parking fees apply.
