The Italian restaurant is now serving up the winning dish of Gulfood 2021’s Pasta Cooking Challenge, a lobster ravioli with makhni (butter) bisque. Curated by culinary talent Saumya Tamrakar, the dish combines the rich, flavoursome Indian makhni bisque with home-made, lobster-stuffed pasta.

The modern Indian bistro has launched a weekend lunch menu inspired by the Indian ‘tiffin’ tradition. Start with your choice of five starters to share, followed by two sides, one bun or burger, one dessert and two sodas or karak chai. Relish crispy tempura prawns with kumquat chilli air and spicy mayo; mutton kebabs with tomato chutney; and bao buns stuffed with butter chicken. Make room for dessert and tuck into a saffron makhan malai or a deconstructed molten chocolate cake with ice cream.

Become a chef at home with the newly launched DIY pizza and pasta kits from vegetarian Italian restaurant, Little Italy. The kit includes three 8-inch pizza bases, which you can top with the packed classic or spicy tomato sauce, Mozzarella cheese, green and black olives, chilli flakes and oregano. It also comes with 500g pasta with a pesto sauce, a bechamel-tomato sauce, an arrabbiata sauce, chilli flakes, oregano and parmesan cheese.
