Sponsored: Brunching in the capital this weekend and a fan of Italian food?
Then we’ve got the perfect newbie for you to try. Following the success of the Roberto’s Dubai Friday brunch, its Abu Dhabi sister restaurant has now launched its own weekly four-hour feast – adding to the capital’s growing list of must-try brunches.
In true Italian style, the focus of the brunch centres around classic dishes that are designed to be shared. Expect the likes of Burrata served with ripe vine tomatoes and fresh basil, alongside golden fried calamari, and a delicious classic margherita pizza. You can also enjoy freshly caught tuna tartare and a plate of baby lettuce salad, mandarin, pine nuts, honey mustard dressing. Fresh and juicy fine de Claire oysters will also be on offer to kick-start the brunch, which we’re sure will go down a treat.
And what’s an Italian feast without pasta? Indulge in Roberto’s famous risotto al funghi porcini, which is served directly to your table, as well as the delectable tortelli arrabbiata. You can count us in for both!
Diners are then invited to choose their main course from an expansive menu, with the option of one of three meat dishes, one of three fish dishes, or one of three delicious vegetarian dishes. Be sure to leave room for dessert, too. The chef’s selection of homemade desserts promise to be a definite treat and the perfect end to a traditional Italian feast.
If you’ve no plans to venture to Abu Dhabi anytime soon, fear not – as Roberto’s acclaimed brunch menu is also available at its DIFC base, every Friday from 3pm till 7pm.
