Iftar at Chival
This Ramadan, savour an array of Arabic dishes from a modern, yet authentic International menu filled with mouthwatering delicacies.
The intimate family-style Iftar begins with refreshing Arabic juices, before moving over to a selection of Middle Eastern salads and cold mezze such as fattoush, muhammara and bulgur bil zeit. This is followed by a wholesome lentil soup, appetising mini-Lebanese mezze including cheese fatayer, shrimps Provençal, meat kibbeh and wood-fired manakish. Mains include lamb shank with ouzi rice, baked sea bream with tahini, dawood basha and an Iranian mix grill.
End your meal on a sweet note with Arabic sweets and decadent desserts, including rose-scented halwa cheesecake and orange blossom scented panna cotta.
After Iftar, diners can move over to the adjacent cosy and casual Courtyard for a shisha of their choice.
If an Iftar at home is what you prefer, the eatery also offers the same spread for takeaway, pick-up or delivery. Even better, you can have an Iftar for one delivered as well, or order à la carte. Tuck into dishes of baba ganoush, green hummus with assorted bread, chicken liver, baked potato and chicken, kunafa and a fruit platter.
Iftar: Sunset to 9pm. AED239 per person, AED119.50 per child (aged 6 to 12) and complimentary for kids below six. AED169 per person (for groups of 10 people and more). Visit More Cravings or order through Deliveroo and Careem. Shisha: 9pm-1am. AED60.
