Indian cuisine lovers are in for a treat with the introduction of a street-food festival at Masala Courtyard & Terrace, Bab Al Shams’ signature Indian-cuisine restaurant.

The team have put together twelve live cooking stations, which allows diners to sample street food favourites from across India. From popular street food staples such as chaat pakora (a spiced, fried fritter), dahi vada (lentil fritter in yoghurt), and chicken momos (steamed dumplings), to vegetable chow mein (stir-fried noodles), biryanis and authentic curries, there is plenty to discover.

Tuck into traditional desserts including payasam (milk pudding with grains), gulab jamun (milk-based sweet), gajar halwa (carrot sweet) and kaju katli (cashew treat).

For those looking to complete their street-food experience, the menu is served alongside fresh lassi (yoghurt-based drink), chai and soft beverages.
