With his finger on the culinary pulse, chef Timothy Newton has given things a shake up at the Fairmont Dubai-based restaurant, incorporating several new dishes in to the Bagatelle menu that prove seriously deliciously additions.
To begin, the Burrata Sauce Verte, with Datterini tomatoes and asparagus, salsa verde and toasted sourdough is hailed as a “must-try.” The Salade de Betteraves, Féta et Figues, comprised of marinated beetroot, feta mousse, figs, mixed seeds and beetroot gel, as well as the Carpaccio de Veau, with dijonnaise, capers, cantal cheese and confit shallot is set to be another hit dish with Dubai diners.
For those who enjoy seafood, the Tartare de Saumon au Caviar will undoubtedly appeal, with organic Scottish cured salmon, crème fraiche dressing, caviar and crispy potato, alongside the Poulpe Croustillant, with crispy octopus, black lemon aioli and charred jalapeño dressing. Chef Tim has also reinvented the especially popular plate, the Loup de Mer Entier, with josper roasted whole seabass, ratte potatoes, morel mushrooms, asparagus and herb butter.
And we’re told that this is just the beginning… Designed to reflect classic Parisian elements, highlighted by bold artwork and pulsating music, ensuring guests are entertained abundantly every night, Bagatelle has plenty of excitement in the pipeline.
Kick off the weekend with fun, frolics and the finest cuisine every Thursday and Friday at Bagatelle, or head down on a Tuesday for the Le Mardi C’est Permis – an evening that centres around the French music scene. On Wednesday, light up the night and celebrate the era of glamour and good times, luxury and hedonism at the newly launched Studio Bagatelle evening. Enjoy the sweet sounds of the disco era during a night of decadence and dance under the disco ball like it’s 1979. Or, see out the weekend in style every Saturday evening at Unplugged, that sees a live soul band entertain the guests.
