Culinary highlights

To kick things off, we embarked on our gastronomic adventure with a trio of appetizers. The Truffini, delectable rice balls featuring Pecorino Romano and a tantalizing filling of tartufata sauce, were a delightful way to begin our meal. Each bite offered a harmonious blend of creamy and savoury notes, with the crisp breading adding a contrast in texture.

The Calamari fritti, showcased crispy, tender calamari served with a delectable and zesty tartare sauce. The Mozzarella di bufala, a refreshing composition of buffalo mozzarella, datterini tomatoes, basil, green olives, and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.

Moving on to the main courses, we were treated to an array of flavours that continued to impress. The Paccheri alla calabrese, featuring homemade Angus sausage, eggplant, tomato sauce, and Pecorino Romano DOP was a savoury masterpiece. The robust flavours of the sausage melded harmoniously with the earthy notes of eggplants, while the chilli pepper provided a subtle kick that added depth to the dish.

The Truffaiola, a creative fusion of Burrata stracciata, shiitake mushrooms, truffle sauce, and fresh seasonal black truffle, was a sensory delight. Every bite was a luxurious experience, with the earthy richness of the truffle beautifully complementing the creaminess of the Burrata stracciata.

We couldn’t resist indulging in the Crème brûlée and the traditional Tiramisu. The Creme Brulee was a perfectly executed dessert, with its velvety custard base delicately caramelized to create a satisfying crunch while the Tiramisu delivered an exquisite sense of nostalgia.
