Air fryer parsnips

Roasted in the air fryer and glazed with sage, nutmeg and honey, these parsnips make a great Christmas side.

Ingredients
- 750g parsnips (no need to peel), scrubbed, trimmed and halved or quartered lengthways
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- handful of sage , finely chopped
- ½ tsp ground mace or nutmeg
- 2 tsp honey
Method
Heat the air fryer to 180C. Put the parsnips into a bowl, drizzle over the oil and season with salt. Toss well. Tip into the air fryer and arrange in an even layer. Roast for 20-25 mins until golden and just tender, shaking halfway through cooking.
Scatter over the sage, mace or nutmeg and a little black pepper, then drizzle with the honey. Shake the air fryer basket until everything is coated. Roast for another 10 mins, until sticky and glazed.
