Ingredients

  • 350g fresh brussels sprouts, or 250g frozen
  • 1 tsp vegetable oil
  • chopped cooked bacon, chilli flakes or chopped roasted hazelnuts, to serve (optional)

Method

  1. Heat the air fryer to 180C. If using fresh sprouts, trim them, then tip in a bowl. Drizzle over the oil, season well and toss to coat. Arrange the sprouts in the air-fryer basket in a single layer and cook for 10-15, tossing halfway through.

  2. If cooking from frozen, tip the frozen sprouts into the air-fryer basket and cook for 10-15 mins, depending on how golden you like them. Remove, then tip onto a serving plate and scatter with any of the suggested toppings, if you like.
