Found within the iconic Dubai Opera, Belcanto transports diners into the world of authentic Italian opera through its design and ambience. The highlights

Our meal started with the Insalata Giardino, a clean and simple salad that was a refreshing start to our dinner. The Burrata “Belcanto” was an instant showstopper. Set on a ring of golden puff pastry, the burrata looked almost sculptural, smooth and glossy under the light. Cutting into it revealed a soft, creamy centre that flowed onto the tomato base below. The pastry added a flaky crunch, soaking up the sauce, while the basil gave just the right touch of fragrance to tie it all together.

The Maccheroncini di Pasta Fresca all’Arrabbiata came next, the pasta cooked perfectly and coated in a bright tomato sauce with just enough spice to wake up the palate. The Diavola pizza delivered bold flavour through its smoky crust, spicy beef salami and rich mozzarella.

To end, the Tiramisù Classico, Moderno was everything you’d hope for: light, balanced and just sweet enough, with the espresso and cocoa coming through beautifully.
