The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi, invites guests to mark the season with thoughtfully curated dining experiences. From the Moroccan-inspired beachfront pop-up, Dar Chaouen, to a refined Iftar at Oléa, guests can choose from distinct settings.
Set along the shores of Saadiyat Island, Dar Chaouen is reimagined for the Holy Month as an intimate Moroccan retreat. Shades of blue, layered textures and soft lighting echo the charm of Chefchaouen, creating a serene beachfront space for Iftar and Suhoor under the stars. The à la carte menu brings together Moroccan flavours and Pacific Rim influences, with warm khobz and mezze, salads such as zaalouk and chermoula, comforting harira or lentil soup, and a selection of slow-cooked tagines spanning lamb, chicken and seafood. Traditional sweets and a mint tea ritual complete the experience. An exclusive set menu is also available for private gatherings.
For a more traditional setting, Oléa presents a generous Iftar buffet across its indoor and al fresco spaces. The spread features Arabian favourites alongside international dishes, including Turkish kebabs, Moroccan specialities, seafood, pasta and curries, followed by baklava and kunafa. Live cooking stations and an oud performance add to the ambience. Iftar is priced at AED 295 per person, including Ramadan beverages, and AED 145 for children aged 6–12, served daily from sunset to 11pm throughout Ramadan.
This Ramadan, the resort offers moments of connection and reflection by the sea, whether in the intimate surrounds of Dar Chaouen or the vibrant setting of Oléa.
