JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai

This Ramadan, the city’s pace softens at JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai. Families and friends are invited to gather for a season marked by a programme of experiences, from open-air Iftar beneath the sky to late-night Suhoor in a serene setting. This year’s offering centres on connection to tradition, flavour, and one another.

Visitors entering the hotel are greeted by the House of Light, a luminous installation created by Studio Morcos. Anchored by a sculptural misbah and surrounded by lanterns, the space invites a pause from the movement of daily life. Guests are encouraged to write Ramadan wishes and hang them within the installation, adding to a collective display of hope and reflection. Conceived as a quiet journey from bustle to stillness, the installation echoes the contemplative spirit of the month.

Al Qamar Iftar

Named for the moon, Al Qamar Iftar unfolds on The Terrace beneath the stars, with views of the Burj Khalifa and the sound of live oud music drifting through the venue. The buffet spans a wide culinary landscape from Asian wok stations and Middle Eastern grills to Indian tandoors and Western classics. Traditional highlights include whole lamb ouzi, a shawarma station and a variety of live cooking stations, anchoring the meal in familiar Ramadan flavours.

Sunset to 10pm. AED275 per person.

Kitchen6

Iftar is centred around six interactive kitchens where chefs prepare dishes right in front of your eyes. The setting encourages a communal ambience, with diners moving between stations that showcase Middle Eastern staples alongside international cuisine. A dedicated shawarma station and traditional ouzi sit alongside global dishes, while an expansive dessert selection offers a sweet finale.

6:30-11pm. AED255 per person.

Rang Mahal

Iftar takes the form of a three-course, family-style menu inspired by historic spice routes. Drawing on India’s diverse culinary traditions, the experience highlights regional flavours with a fresh, innovative take. The emphasis is on sharing — a table filled with dishes that encourage conversation and connection, reflecting the social spirit of Ramadan.

6-11pm. AED195 per person.

Nomadia

As the evening extends into the early hours, Nomadia offers a relaxed Suhoor setting where guests can linger over an à la carte menu. The atmosphere is relaxed and sociable, allowing friends and families to reconnect as the night unfolds.

9pm-2am. À la carte menu.
