Adapting to the times is what great chefs do best. In response to a quieter season across the region, Akmal Anuar is opening his doors in a new, more intimate way – inviting diners to sit side-by-side and share in a meal that supports the very heartbeat of his restaurants: the team.
In an honest and unfiltered Instagram post, Anuar shared his new direction. The concept is straightforward: one long table, dishes made for sharing, and a room full of people coming together to enjoy a meal.

What to expect
The usual menus are currently on pause. With rising ingredient costs and certain items becoming harder to source, the kitchen is working more closely with what is available. That means a different menu every night.
Dinner is priced at AED150 per person, with the option for guests to contribute more if they wish. Any additional amount goes directly to team members currently on pay cuts or unpaid leave, supporting efforts to keep the kitchens running and staff in employment.

The dinners will run across both venues on alternate days: Osteria Funkcoolio: Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays (April 14, 16, 18). Harummanis: Wednesdays, Fridays, Sundays (April 15, 17, 19). All sittings are at 7pm only.
