Sponsored: Al-Futtaim IKEA marks Ramadan with meaningful experiences and new collections for the season
As Ramadan approaches, homes gradually begin to shift. Evenings stretch longer, and everyday routines make room for warm gatherings with our loved ones. Al-Futtaim IKEA’s Ramadan programme welcomes the spirit of togetherness with seasonal home updates, generous Iftar offerings and community initiatives to embrace the holy month.
The season begins at home with the Ramadan GOKVÄLLÅ collection. Drawing inspiration from Islamic art and architectural patterns, the range adds to the atmosphere of dining tables and living spaces throughout the month. Picture warm colours, ornamented textiles, lanterns and brass-finish tableware that complete your setup.
In addition, don’t miss Al-Futtaim IKEA’s Ramadan sale, offering up to 75 per cent off more than 2,000 items across all UAE stores and online at IKEA.ae. From tableware and lighting to cushions, textiles and decorative accents, the sale makes it easier to refresh your home. Another range that’s set to drop is GREJSIMOJS. Inspired by the IKEA Play Report, the collection encourages making homes more lively and interactive through a range of items, including chair covers, storage pouffes, giraffe lamps, rocking birds, balance boards, toy building blocks, floor cushions, rugs, room dividers and mouse-shaped Bluetooth speakers.
For those hosting at home, Al-Futtaim IKEA offers straightforward options that reduce the pressure of entertaining. A family-sized lamb leg takeaway, weighing four kilograms, is available on a pre-order basis with a minimum 24-hour notice as an Iftar centrepiece, while the Swedish Food Market stocks ready-to-cook Arabic mezze such as cheese samosas and meat kibbeh, priced at AED25. The brand’s Ramadan advent calendar also returns this year, adding a simple daily tradition to the occasion.
Looking to dine out? As the sun sets, Al-Futtaim IKEA’s annual Ramadan Iftar buffet returns across all UAE stores every day during Ramadan, available daily between 6pm and 9pm. The buffet brings together Middle Eastern, Indian and continental dishes, with live cooking stations including the popular Lamb Ouzi, alongside hot and cold mezze, salads and classic desserts.
Community remains a central focus to give back. Through the Iftar Meal Box initiative, customers can purchase ready-to-distribute boxes priced at AED10 and AED15, each containing essential items to break the fast. Boxes are available on a pre-order basis with a minimum 24-hour notice and can be shared directly or distributed by Al-Futtaim IKEA.
Through thoughtful home touches, delicious Iftar offerings and ways to give back, Al-Futtaim IKEA celebrates the moments that matter and what brings people together.
Iftar: Priced at AED99 for adults, AED49 for children aged six to twelve, complimentary meals for children under five, and a special AED89 rate for IKEA Family members. Each buffet visit also includes an AED20 voucher.
