Sponsored: Anar has reopened at Souk Madinat Jumeirah following a complete transformation, offering a refreshed Persian dining experience overlooking the Souk’s waterways and Burj Al Arab
The redesigned interiors feature clay-washed walls, hand-textured plaster, distressed wood and glazed tiles inspired by Persian courtyards, suited for a laid-back experience. Guided by its Neo Persian Soul philosophy, the menu continues to focus on classic Persian cooking with new touches. Prepare for slow-cooked stews, saffron-led rice dishes, charcoal-smoked grills and desserts such as chelow kabab kubideh, ghormeh sabzi, joojeh masti, gardan and faloodi shirazi.
A new courtyard bar introduces an alfresco space for evening drinks, alongside a beverage programme using Persian ingredients, created by a barman whose experience includes Barcelona’s Paradiso. The bar is paired with a small bites menu offering shareable versions of Anar favourites.
As the sun sets over Souk Madinat and the light shifts across the canals, Anar’s terrace remains a key draw, now joined by a courtyard bar perfect for long, easy evenings, with breathtaking views.
