Honey takes a bigger role at this year’s event with the inaugural Abu Dhabi Honey Symposium, organised by the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) in collaboration with Apimondia.

Alongside the symposium’s talks, workshops and demonstrations, visitors can explore more than 40 beekeeping booths and UAE-produced honey. A global Honey Tasting Platform will also offer samples from around the world, with opportunities to learn about different flavours, origins and varieties.

The symposium will bring together beekeepers, honey producers, researchers and industry experts to explore beekeeping and honey production, with workshops covering topics including honey sensory evaluation, apitherapy and bee venom therapy.

Global Food Week follows its 2025 edition, which attracted more than 40,000 visitors and featured more than 2,000 exhibitors and brands from 75 countries.

Note: Some zones at Global Food Week are restricted to 16+ visitors only.
