Ever experienced Oktoberfest? You’re in for a real treat. Long tables, chilled hops on tap and brass bands setting off the sing-alongs. Now in its fifth year, ERNST is once again turning its Biergarten and Wirtshaus into the centre of the celebrations.

For those coming with a crew, the Bavarian Bierfest Combo comes in at AED750 and includes a sharing pan for four, available in non-halal or halal options, a pretzel tree and a 3L hops tower. Prefer to keep things a little simpler? The Stein & Sausage at AED150 pairs a litre of chilled hops with a trio of sausages, also with non-halal or halal options. Both are available every Thursday, Friday and Saturday during dinner, giving groups plenty of reason to gather around the table and settle in for the evening. For those simply looking to raise a stein, the 3L hops shoe is available for AED330.

The fun-packed schedule makes every day interesting and worth a visit. Head over from Thursday to Saturday from 5pm till late, and Sundays from 1pm to 4pm while weekends are the perfect way to end the week.

Saturdays bring the Bavarian Bierfest Brunch from 1pm to 5pm, with buffet packages from AED300 for the Soft Package, AED400 for the Entry Package and AED500 for the Premium Package. Expect Bavarian favourites, a German live band and the Stein Holding Competition. Running Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 9:30pm, the competition is open to guests who purchase a pint, with the winner receiving a Hops Tower. On Sundays, a three-course roast runs from 1pm to 4pm for AED120 per person, with live band entertainment.

Live music runs through every week of Bavarian Bierfest. Performances take place Thursdays and Fridays from 7pm to 10pm, Saturdays from 1pm to 5pm and again from 7pm to 10pm, and Sundays from 1pm to 4pm. The seven-week line-up opens with Wiesn Wahnsinn from 17 to 20 September, moves on to O’Tunes from 24 September to 4 October, brings in Lieblingsband from 8 to 18 October, welcomes Die Vlierländer Musikanten from 22 to 25 October and closes out with Doe Mar Wa from 29 to 31 October.

Rounding out the celebration, ERNST is serving festival-exclusive dishes created for Bavarian Bierfest, from smoked salmon tartare and cheese spaetzle to roasted non-halal meat, Swabian dumplings and indulgent apple-pie ice cream. More specials will be available throughout the festival, with prices starting from AED55.
