Taste of Abu Dhabi returns this weekend

The UAE’S favourite foodie festival is set to return to the capital from 9th-11th November. The event will see tasting stations from some of the country’s best restaurants set up shop at du Arena on Yas island. There will also celebrity chefs on hand, offering masterclasses to the public. Music fans will be able to enjoy local bands and international stars, including The former Spandau Ballet singer Tony Hadley. The star will be performing some of his popular hits including ‘Gold,’ ’Only When You Leave’ and ‘True’.

Popular chefs who will be running workshops include Sanjeev Kapoor, Reza Mahammad, Jenny Morris, and Shelina Permalloo. Fan of Italian food? Then be sure to head to the festivals first-ever Italian food pavilion. There will be classes on how to make pasta from scratch from expert Italian chefs, tasting sessions and more.

There will be a fun kids zone on offer, for the youngest guests at the festival. Children can enjoy face painting, pizza making, arts and crafts and an inflatable play area. For the more daring older kids there will also be zip line and bungee jumping activities.

Be sure to show up early – the first 1,000 car parking spaces at the festival will be free!
